  2. What is the process for ordering promotional items?

    1. Request for information (and/or samples)
    2. Products to be ordered are determined
    3. Final quote produced
    4. Final quote approved
    5. Artwork is received and processed (resized, redrawn, info added?)
    6. Final artwork proofed and authorized by customer
    7. Order goes into production
    8. Screen and plates are produced and sent over to client for approval
    9. Decoration of product begins along with extensive quality control
    10. Quality assured, packaged, shipped
    11. Delivered
    12. Invoiced  
    13. Steps are changed if imprinting solution is different

  3. How long does it take?

    As soon as 24 hours!

    Although If you consider the above process you are likely looking at 12-15 BUSINESS DAYS from final art approval for most product, but as we all know this is a very reactive industry and we suggest you call.

    Peak seasons are March – June and September to mid December.  During these periods items may take longer (15-20 business days).  Next day or even same day production is available in limited items. Production times are based on business days (Monday- Friday). Due to the processing time needed the day the order is finalized may not count as a production day (the next day would be the start).

  4. What is our guarantee?

    We guarantee that your order will be received without defects or damage and personalized as requested and approved, or we will replace the effected pieces of the order or issue you a refund on the effected product. Please notify Admar and courier person immediately if it appears your order has been damaged during shipping. Admar will guarantee all products for a minimum of 15 days with extensions of guarantee dependent on the item.

  5. What is your return policy?

    Admar believes in 100% customer satisfaction. Our goal is to produce a risk-free environment for our customers in which to purchase our product. If you are not completely satisfied with your product please contact our customer service department with your concerns within one week of receipt of goods. We will work with you to solve the problem. Please note that Admar will not accept return of goods unless the customer has been given a Return Authorization Number.  

  6. What is a set-up/screen charge?

    For the majority of products offered by Admar, a set-up is needed to customize the product you are ordering with your specific information. It is a series of processes in which your logo is changed to the proper format (screen, plate, digitizing, die) to make a custom impression. Repeat orders may or may not be charged for set-up depending on the supplier and product.

  7. Is there a charge for Shipping & Handling?

    All orders are shipped F.O.B. from our factories. Usually due to the volume of goods shipped, we can usually offer you the most economical shipping. However, should you wish to use your own shipping account, please advise the shipping company and your account number?

  8. What does +/- (over and under mean)?

    Due to the manufacturing process and quality production standards, there can be over runs and occasionally under runs. Industry standards allow 5% over and under unless otherwise stated. We bill you only for the actual quantity shipped. If you wish to receive the exact quantity, there may be a surcharge for this service. Please inquire with your customer service representative.

  9. I want the same logo on multiple items yet there are setup charges for each item. Why?

    We hear this quite a bit but there really is a good reason. Each item generally has a different imprint area and often information is changed by our clients in order to fill specific needs. These charges do not originate from Admar Promotions Group.

  10. What type of artwork does Admar require?

    Quality original art is key to a good print. We require artwork in a Vector format which may be an Adobe Illustrator, EPS or Corel Draw file.  Please send us your artwork and we will be able to tell you if it is in the proper format.  For your convenience we also offer artwork services and can easily have your artwork converted. 

    PREFERRED FILE FORMAT: Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
    ACCEPTABLE FILE FORMATS: Corel Draw (.cdr), .eps,

  11. Can I see what my Artwork will look like before printing?

    Yes, we provide a complimentary paper proof to the actual imprinted size proof prior to production of your screen and plates. We will follow up with a final artwork approval prior to actually decorating the product.

  12. Can I fax you a copy of my logo or send you my business card?

    Yes but we can’t use that as final artwork and it will have to be redrawn. An artwork fee would apply. If requested Admar will email you the finished artwork so that you don’t run into the same issue again for other areas of your business.

  13. Do we have to supply the artwork?

    Not at all. Admar offers full art services (and we are cheaper than those design houses). We will need a couple days to work something up for you. Rates are $0 for a text set-up and $90/hour for graphic design.

  14. Is the logo imprint included in the price?

    Clothing: All listed pricing is for decorated product. The description will inform you as to what is included in your pricing. For example it may be 1 colour screen-printing, 5000 stitches of embroidery, tackle twill, custom zipper pulls and more. Setup charges may or may not be applied depending on final solution.

    Promotional items (non-wearable’s): 99% of the time a one color logo is included in the price. Additional colors are extra (if available). Options like etching, embossing, debossing or laser engraving may be available.

  15. Do I have to have a logo on the item?

    No.  We sell blank item all the time!

  16. How do I have an item embroidered? There are 2 ways to embroider:
    1. Keyboard: The quickest and least expensive way. Pick from 2 Admar typefaces (block or script), choose your size color and position. NO graphic elements are available. Setup cost per area will apply.

    2. Digitizing: By far the most customized way to embroider. Logos need to be done this way as the digitizing converts your design into a language that tell the embroidery machine stitch heads where to place the stitches, colors and other elements. This needs to only be done one time and hence there is a one time charge. Our rate is $30 per 1000 stitches. An average left chest logo is 5000 stitches ($150).  We can also use other digitized files if you have had them done before for other embroidery projects.

  17. What if we can’t find what we need on the Admar website?

    Not a problem. Either send us an email or Contact an Admar representative on our 800# to talk about creative solutions to all your promotional product needs.

  18. I need something last minute! Can Admar help?

    We have a number of suppliers who offer 5 day, 72-48-24 hr. services. Items are too numerous to list but if you keep it simple (i.e. one color printing) we can likely find something to fit your needs.

  19. Are all Admar promotional products available for shipping outside Canada?

    Yes.  Some items though may be subject to international trade regulations and therefore you may run into high customs charges and delays. Thanks though to NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) most non-clothing items are easy to arrange. The better news is that Admar can direct you towards products that are more border friendly.   We work with factories internationally and therefore would choose a factory closer to your destination.
